Barn Owl Art

Stage 1, laying on background color and texture, leaving rough bird outline.
Stage 2, making the basic shape of the bird.
Stage 3, roughing in some feathers and face.
Stage 4, adding highlights and body beginning to take shape.
Stage 5, nearing completion.  Photographed in bad light, waiting for touch up in daytime.
Here's the finished barn owl, perched and ready to hunt. 8x10" acrylic.  I thought it would be fun to show the steps in the process.
